Before Your First Visit

Secure Communication 
After you have scheduled your first appointment, you will receive an email with instructions on how to log into my secure portal, along with a 4-digit PIN. Once you have used your email address or phone number and the PIN, you will want to create your own secure password. This password will enable you to access your records and schedule future appointments on your own. 
 
It will also be your way of viewing and printing invoices and receipts to give insurance for claims (optional), as well as communicate via secure messaging and email via the portal.
 
After you have set up your password and gained access to the client portal, the system will provide you with the online forms to read and complete at your convenience.
 
Paperwork
Please complete all required forms, sign them, and read the policies and procedures before coming in for your appointment. This will save time and allow us to make best use of your appointment.

Parking & Directions
The standard appointment is scheduled for 55 minutes. Please allow yourself a few extra minutes the first time you come, to allow for traffic and ensure you arrive on time for your appointment. 
 
My office is located in The Grove Office Park, on Manchester Road just east of County Farm Road and north of Roosevelt in Wheaton. There are three buildings in the complex; I am in Building B. There is abundant parking for Building B is on the south side of the building. 
 
For ease of access, park outside Building B near the “1000” entrance. The building is wheelchair accessible. Once inside the building, either use the stairs or the elevator to reach the second floor, and then look for suite 1072.

Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. If you entered your credit card information in the client portal, your payment may be automated for your convenience via a charge to your account at the end of the day. I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
 
If you haven’t entered your credit card as payment in the client portal, at the end of the session I’ll ask you to pay by credit card, check, or cash. As a healthcare provider, I also proudly accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
 
Security of Data
My practice management system uses 128-bit Secure Socket Layer encryption so your payment is secure and your data HIPAA compliant.
